[Shotimes] Help with Koni Strut Warranty

Guess I should introduce myself first, I used to own a 95 Red MTX untill I
recently when I  sold it and picked up a 2002 Grand Prix GTP(sorry guys I
needed a bit more power hehe) Anyways I had a few suspension mods on my SHO
that included the Koni inserts. I tore them offmy SHO when I sold her
because they fit into the grand prix housing. My only problem now is that I
have atleast one blown out Koni and and a couple others that are leaking. I
called up Koni since they carry a lifetime warranty to the orginal
purchaser. so I asked if I could just send them in my inserts and get them
replaced  they told me I need the orignal purchase receipt and copy of my
vehicle registration, I however dont' have the SHO anymore and dont' have
the registration and ill be damned if after amost 4 years and a basement
flood I have that receipt anymore. Im not trying to scam the system here I
paid for the Koni's and am just trying to get them checked and replaced as
needed under warranty and Koniwont budge and inch without those two
doccuments. I was currious if anyone can possibly help me out with this
situation, if not I understand.
