plus is 42.5 lb, the steel gen1 is 50.  I seem to remember the gen2 being a
tick lighter but maybe it's not.  maybe it's 50 as well.

I do know the plus is 7.5 lbs lighter than the steel.

somebody needs to make an 8 lb carbon fiber plus look alike <VBG>
