[Shotimes] cooling fan relay

Hello everyone.
Do you guys have a quick fix for the multi function relay when the cooling fan relay goes?
Im just gonna wire my fan direct, as that MF relay is quite expensive, but thought I would check with you guys first..
Also, I performed that eatc test to see why my fan is stuck on defrost, and after the 20 seconds, I dont get any codes but instead all the numbers and displays just stay on like when you first start up the vehicle....dont know what that means...
