About the track day at Hallett, I am the (unattributed) author of this
quote, which appeared in the SHO Club magazine, Summer 2001:

"My wife told me, ' If you leave me to go racing, you'll burn in Hell.' Sure
enough, it happened."

Just remember, it wasn't the heat, it was humidity.   ;-)
