It wouldn't matter if the tire & rim flew off the vehicle......the response
is the same.

I've seen way too many acts of idiocy in my 37 years of driving, but I
totally agree that the level of driver skill is incredibly low.

 This is the only flat tire I've ever had while
driving, but I don't see why people have been killed in their explorer,
unless they completely lost the tire off the rim, and the rim bit the
pavement.
