When mine stuck open like that, it was the plastic switch cover that had broken on one edge and no longer activated the switch.  Either superglue the switch cover on or someone had a fix involving a switch from Napa.  I have the info at home if you'd like me to forward it to you.

i have a minor problem with my sunroof. it wont shut. right now its in the 

slant up position so i can easily just close the slide thing inside the
car 
at night. but here's my question, is there anyway i can  get it shut, or
any 
have a rough estimate how much it may cost to get it running again? thanks
