The main reason I use WinProxy is that until just recently, none of the home
Firewall/Router vendors offered any soft of virus protection.

I can do almost everything with WinProxy that I do with the hardware
appliances.  Plus, I get the Site filtering without having to rely on an
ISP's tools OR putting software on every PC.  I do run Anti-Virus on every
computer, but it is backup to the Winproxy Trend-Micro.  Both Site Filters
and Anti-Virus update every 4 horus too.

About the only thing that I can understand is that some of this stuff just
may prevent a nasty virus from entering this crap-top, but then again it may
not.  Also another problem is spam.  But this comes and goes.

I really liked my old DOS email!  No one now writes a visus that it could
decode, and it didn't work all that bad.  But now my server won't support it
anymore :-(
