OK....I gotta get this done, cause the window is going back in in a few days. I
know I use either an ohmmeter or a little light bulb and a wire, plus a battery, to
do it. But my question is....exactly where do I put the leads from the meter (my
preference)? If there is an open in a particular line, the current will still get
around to the other side via the other lines, won't it? How much difference in the
reading will there be on either side of the open spot in the line?
Do I put one lead on the connector on one side (A), and trace a given line from the
far side (B) back to the A side? Seems that might work, but I'm wondering about the
various paths the current can take. I haven't looked in Helms yet...it might say.
I have the repair kit.
