[Shotimes] broken studs

Just take off the caliper and rotor. The caliper on my '91 takes a T-35 or T-40 torx socket to remove. Pull off the rotor and get your BFH and give the stud a couple of whacks. You may need to put few washers over the new stud and pull it in with a lug nut if it is not long enough to thread a nut over the wheel.
The standard Taurus studs from Pep Boys work fine, even though the Ford factory ones are a little bit longer.

No equine jokes please.
Is there anything special I should know about replacing a broken stud on a
front hub? I have to take off the rotor, right? Anything else to know?
