Oh, okay, your post makes more sense now.  Well, you should try to find out
how old the Tokicos are.  I've gotten about 90K out of mine before I thought
they needed to be replaced.

My 92 has had this setup for years and am running that much negative camber.
Everything in your post is accurate, but IMO, if you rotate your tires, the
wear effect on the front inners will be reduced.  If the spot welds are still
in place, you can have the shop break them and they should be able to pull the
towers out a little to get you closer to spec, but it will never be the same
as the factory setup because of the altered geometry of the suspension.  I had
the welds broken on mine BTW.   The other thing to worry about when mucking
with the towers is that you don't want the strut to rub in the tower because
it is too close to the wall.  Hopefully someone else can comment on use of
those plates.

If you don't want the more aggressive springs, you could always go back to
stock as another option.
