Don't think that hauling a trailer could have anything to do with the
idle.
Just put a new starter (autozone lifetime warranty) on the '95MTX and now
is
has trouble idling. Thought that I let idle enough after the first start
for
the computer to relearn the idle, but 2 days later, it still wants to go
down to 500rpm and stall.  Wonder how long it takes before the idle
program
is normal?

Sounds Joseph is looking for another car to teach his teen-age kids to
drive
and appreciate driving in.  The MT5 would be good.  Stick to help then
connect to the car.  A 4 banger so they can't get into a lot of trouble.
And easy to fix when broken.
Think that we all should look for a good one.  I may even think of one for 
a
turbo, should the AWA ever let me spend that much time in the garage...
