Well, the design of the car hasn't changed in ten years (Gen 1 & 2)!! How
many different things are out there??

Actually, the nature of the list has changed quite a bit over that time, and
even within the last year or two. Volume is way down, and things are more
maintenance/repair/modifications related than before. Sure, some of the same
questions get asked over time, but over time some of the answers have also
changed to a better/easier/cheaper solution.

I would not call it a "recent surge" in specialists. The list of specialists
has been there for quite a while, maybe it's just that you now have a few
more in the Northeast.. True that there has been more performance activity
over the last few years as cars have gotten cheaper, but other than the
explosion of 3.2 installs in MTXs, there hasn't really been anything new on
the performance mod front in a number of years.

The list is doing fine, I believe. The cars are becoming more as 2nd-3rd-4th
vehicles that are not driven daily, and I see that trend continuing. Also as
time goes on, there will be more people who will want to return their SHOs
to stock, original, condition. There's nothing new and unique to SHOs in
what I just wrote, SHOs are just following the progression of other
enthusiast cars that have gotten older.

Maybe true.. But they have been the same redundant questions for the last 10
years that I can remember.

If it wasn't for the recent surge in "specialists"  into the SHO community
and for the fact that Forchy and Van Oss keep breaking things where do you
think this list would go? :)
