[Shotimes] No Brake lights...

Just a little to add to this.  When I did the one on my previous XR7, I got
a brake light switch from Autozone.  It did not work at all unless you put
an extreme amount of pressure on the pedal.  I got one from my local Ford
dealer for about $15, which worked fine.  Turns out the spring in the AZ
unit was too heavy.  The brand of the AZ switch was Standard, IIRC.
