[Shotimes] Car Shuddering at Hi RPM Shifts-ATX

Hello All, again...

Well, still trying to rule out tranny failure if possible.  This might be something that I could answer by perusing the Helms, but I haven't it in front of me at this time.  I know or I should say I think there is a tranny mount somewhere and I was wondering if it going bad could cause my problem.  It's recently becoming more noticeable at lower RPM shifts.  The car seems to shudder side to side at high RPM shifts from first to second gear.  Is this the transmission itself or something else?  I know I'm grasping at straws, and I'm sorry to bother you all with these maladies of mine but I'm hoping someone might have an idea.  If my tranny really is going out, someone just shoot me, as my wife isn't going to tolerate my spending  much more of "our" money on "that damn car."  She just doesn't get it...  *sigh* Thanks, JB
