[Shotimes] front hub

Get the carbide drill from Home depot that will drill it out in about 5-10
minutes.

Then use a bolt & nut, as Dave mentioned. I'll bet at least 1/2.....if not
more......of the SHOs that have had struts replaced now have a bolt/nut in
place of the pinch bolt (well, at least the ones in salt country!!).

Congrats on breaking the front! Those are bigger than the rear, and it's
usually the rears that break!!

Subject: [Shotimes] front hub

Is the front hub on an SHO the same as a regular Taurus? My issue
is a broken strut pinch bolt. Was doing the front-end on Car this
weekend. Ball joints, tie rod ends, and struts. Driver's side went
ok (as ok goes with front-end work), but the passenger side bolt
head snapped right off. Tried to drill it out but broke a bit off
inside. So I took the whole hub/strut assembly off to try to find
a machine shop to drill it out. Someone here at work suggested a
hub from a salvage yard. If it comes to that, does it need to be from
an SHO?

TIA
