[Shotimes] Weird Noise after 60K service

Don,

Thanks for the ideas.  The one about the timing vein makes me wonder as it was a little bent and I hammered it back flat, (not the veins, but the center part). I probably should have left it alone.  Just to jump to conclusions, if that is the problem and my shade tree engineering made it worse, is there a resource for that vein?  And would you or anyone else know about cost, etc?
