I currently have a Win2K server set up at my house but I've got no problem
converting to Linux.
Why do it? I don't know why yet. That's the whole point of "toying with
the idea". I don't know about your area but Roadrunner has been extremely
stable where I live. I've had more outages at the hosting company than
I've had with Roadrunner and they're rated one of the best hosting services
around. As for the dynamic IP, that's the whole point of using a dynamic
DNS service. As your IP changes, so does the name resolution.

Why? You won't find a good free POP3 server for W2K. You'd have to go to
Linux.
Once again, why? Do you really want to trust RoadRunner to keep the link up?
Also, do you have a static or dynamic IP address? If it is dynamic, don't do
it.
