Uh, yes it does.  As I understand it, the router I bought has built-in
functionality that can interface directly to DynDNS and send the updated IP
address as it changes.  It doesn't require any human interaction to keep
the DNS updated.

Uhhh, no, not really...  When your dynamic IP address changes, you have to
physically make the changes on your record.  DynDNS does not change the
record for you when your IP changes.  I use pghost.com for my DNS for
v6sho.com.  It is free also, and I don't have to deal with myname.dyndns.org
names.
