I have a netgear router sitting on my desk that does what mark
describes. Unfortunately I am back on dial up and its collecting dust
for now. Pity. :(

Actually, Mark is right! It's kinda cool. Some of the newer routers have
the capability built in. Dig through dyndns.org and you will see the
docs. In addition, you can use any domain name, not just theirs.
