Rust in cooling vanes does not matter. The rotor is iron and is going to
rust anyway. Paint the hats and vanes black if you want. It looks good
behind rims.

Ok so I wasted a trip to autozone and now I have to take back the 601
pads i picked up just incase I couldn't find the PFC 598's. Well I found
them from a distributor in NJ @ $41.03 a pair. A little more than I
wanted to pay, but they'll be here in one day. I can wait another day or
two before doing my brakes. Just wish I had a way to clean the rust out
of the rotors I got. hmm anyone have any suggestions on how to take care
of the rust inside the cooling vanes?
