Why? Because the wires carry a lifetime warranty and the NAPA is very close by, also the wire/plug combo fit as well as stock. Does your wires carry a lifetime warranty? i didn't have to order them and wait for delivery and I wont have to ship them back and forth if the warranty is needed. so $17 dollars for all that convenience, well worth it.
