[Shotimes] Flex Pipe

One of these days, Spring is gonna arrive and I have a few thing the SHO is 
begging for
My exhaust doughnut regularlly breaks down and causes an exhaust leak. 
I have a SHo Shop Y pipe (MTX) and SHO SHOP cat back system. 
WOuld the FLex pipe conversion kit eliminate this?
If so
what are the drawbacks?
also, what mufflers are on the sho shop cat back system? Its a Stainelss 
Steel system i think?
 looking for a different sound , and i will look to add a bigger/second 
resonator too
