Jonathon,
Don't dwell too much the car is 9 years old, it never stops! I plan on $500
per year on maintenance stuff, whether I use it or not. You have to have a
plan for any car that gets up there in age that is a daily driver.

Suspension parts are some items to look out for. AC system, Fuel Filter
and Fuel Pump, Rod bearing are some things to consider. Some SHO's show
signs of rod bearing wear others don't.

Shims are shims, only problem some sizes are becoming obsolete.

Hello All,

For once, I am not asking about a problem, so you can all breathe a sigh of
relief. I have two questions, and wanted some input. First, in the eight
months that I have owned my SHO, I have replaced the water and power
steering pumps, the timing belt, crank and cam sensors, plugs and wires,
valve, plug seal, and intake gaskets, O2 sensors, upper and lower radiator
hoses, thermostat, serpentine belt, front main seal, struts, tires, motor
mounts and endless other items of less importance. First question, as much
as I have enjoyed doing most of this and as much as I have learned, when
will it all stop!? Seriously, what should I be looking for next? I plan on
doing the shims this summer, so where can I find them? All of the listings
that I have seen have been for the MTX. Are they the same? The tranny and
the radiator where supposedly replaced, but considering the lack of work
that was done by the previous owner, are there other wear and tear items
that I should be looki!
ng for or just waiting to fail? The oil usually stays nice and clean and
the tranny fluid was clean and red when I got it and still looks good seven
thousand miles later. I apologize for my ramblings but know that most of
you have probably done this and might have some insight for me.
