I can't say that w/w are something that I tend to look at!!
Dunno, but my experience in the rain is as you described......my 911's
washers are worth a s**t for getting off road spray in warm weather after a
rain, and they would be worthless for getting off salt crud in the winter.
You are probably right on the new 911s. With the shape of the headlight, a
wiper would be tough to design.

Yes, only washers as mentioned. But I do see a lot of new
cars with just washers. I have seen fewer and fewer imports
with wipers on the front. I think volvo may be one of the
few hold-outs on that. Doesn't the newer 911 have just washers?
