Geez,

This is crazy. The guy at AutoZone is correct. The pads should be functional
down to a 1/16'th or less of pad thickness. Ok, change them at 1/8" to be
conservative. You've still got 1/8" or more thickness left to wear off
before you get to that point. That's maybe a year or two?

And you guys recommending grinding them down to trade them in on the wrong
size - what are you thinking? Why bother?
