Flaky sensor in the cap of the overflow tank. FWIW, my '89 would have the
light come on right AFTER I would fill it! You can try cleaning it, or get a
new one.
Or do what I did......just unplugged the SOB!!

Subject: [Shotimes] I'm not sure
I've had three SHOs, one 95 and two 91 models. This question is for my 91.
My problem:the "Low Coolant" light keeps coming on&off even though the rad
is
ok. The fluid level is good, no leaks, full pressure, normal operating
temp,
all coolant/temp related sensors are fine, fan works, also there's no fuse to
control this idiot light, so what 'am I to do? According to my manual, I
need
to service the car as soon as possible. I also don't think the radiator has
ever been cleaned as I noticed some green seaweed like build up under the
radiator cap. The plastic fill tank has been cleaned and checked out ok.
Help!!!!!
