I recommend and sell Lexol. I chose Lexol to sell because
it was the best. Although there are a lot of good products
on the market today. Use a two part process, don't use a
cleaner/conditioner in one product. You can only do one
thing well, and combining the two is a compromise by design.
As for the cracks, no cleaner/conditioner can repair them,
you must re-dye the leather to have it look close to right
again. Many used car dealerships use a process that looks
great, but starts to wear almost immediatly. The process is
designed to last just long enough to get the car sold. A
good process costs a lot of money, but not near as much as
new leather. (sometimes $15 or more per square INCH).
I don't have the name of the company, but there is one that
will custom mix a dye and all the stuff you need. I have
seen it done, and while not permanent, it looks great and
lasts longer than the dealer stuff. IF I can get the name,
I will try to post it later.
Check the Porsche club web sites. They fix leather a LOT
because the seats are REALLY expensive, and people keep the
cars a long time, and usually, they get driven a lot. So
they wind up fixing them a lot! :)
