Our highway system has almost been ruined for long-distance cruising these days.  As far as travelling and amateur "fun runs" these days, I think the guys on the "dark side" have more fun.  That is the guys in modified Jeeps that do the Jeep Jamborees around the country.  Unfortunately I haven't been able to talk the AWA into scratching up her pretty Grand Cherokee yet.

I've been ruined by the SHO in that I won't drive a lesser vehicle on the street anymore, so that precludes me from owning any of the current conventional SUV's for my daily use.
