[Shotimes] tranny mount?

I doubt the noise is coming from your tranny mount... sounds like it coming
from the shifter or the sub frame bushings.

The mount is located just forward of the strut assembly on the driver's
side. It sits between the transmission and the sub frame. The tranny mount
is nothing more than a large piece of rubber sandwiched between two steel
plates. There is no through bolt holding the thing together. You'll be
able to see the mount through the wheel well and more than likely you'll see
a 1" tear right in the middle of the mount. Every mount I've ever seen has
had this same tear and I don't think it really affects anything. If the
tear is significantly larger than 1 - 1 1/2" I would consider replacing it
when you get your clutch done since it has to come out anyway.
