[Shotimes] Gasket P/N's

Sorry to hear about your problems Steve, that just plain sucks that they
would do that. I would go to Go to Autozone (no that this is a
recommendation!) and hopefully buy a good set then replace the o-rings with
the rubber grommets and say "I want my money back!"

I got my set through a friend that owns his own auto shop. He took them
back and asked the rep where he gets his parts "WTF"! I printed the emails
from this list and also the pix for a list members site that showed the
grommets vs. o-rings just in case he needed them, he didn't.

Don,

Where did you get your set? I personally bought mine from
www.RockAuto.com and upon finding these rubber grommets instead of the
plug well seals I called them and asked for some assistance. They
refused to help me, and said there was nothing they could do about it.
I asked them to at least check and see if other packages had the same
wrong parts in them and he refused to even do that.

Make sure you open the box when you pick it up as Felpro for awhile put
in the rubber grommets for the cover bolts instead of the plug well
o-rings. I got one of these sets...

You're dealing with Fel-Pro gaset sets, right?

The valve cover and plug well seals set is (going from memory) VS50378R
and does come with 2 valve cover gaskets and 6 plug well seals. There
is a list of what's included on the package itself.

Have fun!
