[Shotimes] My SHO is having issues - wierd loss of power
and then it stalled today

You checked for stored codes? Or you're just assuming because you
didn't see the CE light?
I'm not doubting you, as I've heard similar stories from people with
failed CPS. I'm just saying there's *supposed* to be a PIP code when it
goes bad.
I know when my CID went bad it would just "act up" for awhile, die
occasionally, not start properly, etc. No CE light, but there was a
code 214 stored.
Thanks,

That is not necessarily true. When my crank sensor started
intermittently dying the only thing it left was me stranded. Never left
a code.
