[Shotimes] SHO Computer Breakdown? Which one was in what years, & reflashing them

I'd avoid flashing a PCM to XJ2 specs. Finding an original XJ2 PCM may be a
more reliable compatibility with the LPM programs. Here's why. Those who've
have remanufactured Ford PCMs have had compatibility problems. My 93 ATX for
example came with a H3Z, but was revised with a replacement H3Z2 PCM. No one
could get a LPM program to work with it. However, I believe the later
production 93 ATX cars came from the factory with the H3Z2, but also had
compatibility problems. Don Mallinson also had a remanufactured PCM in his
89 SHO and also had compatibility problems with the LPM. I think there have
been others with the same issues over the years.

You make a good point about the Intel vs. Motorola CPU. I believe you can ID
the chip manufacturer by the markings on it.
