Here's a story about how NOT going in for a recall can cause your SHO not to
start.

Went to help a local friend figure out why his 90 SHO would not start.
Codes indicated a bad DIS and sure enough, the connector on the rear of the
DIS was damaged.  It has been smashed against the roll-damper bracket.  How
could it do that?  Well it helps if the engine is sitting 3/4" too low!  His
rear subframe bolts were backed out that far!

He's going to have it towed to the dealer to do the subframe recall.  Then
we'll mount a new DIS and I bet it will drive home.

Yikes!
