That should work for 60 mph. IIRC, many speedos have a "varying" error.
Would be nicer to calibrate at 90 mph!!

Once I learn the error, though, it sticks with me. The Gen 3 had an accurate
speedo (until I put on the 225/50 tires), but neither the Gen 1 or Gen 2
SHO, the 911, the Fiero, nor my wife's Del Sol are accurate.

It's really pretty easy to calibrate a speedo.  The odo is not fixed this
way.

Take the clear trim off the IC.

Take off the speedo needle and just barely put back on.

With a stop watch, go to the interstate and set the cruise until you are
going 1 mile every minute.

The carefully while the cruise is still set put the needle on 60.
