[Shotimes] A/C question

If you are low, the AC clutch will cycle on and off repetitively. If you
have the AC running while filling, I believe the duration in cycles will
slow down until there is enough in the system. I think that's how I did
it on my 94.

Anyone have any r12 for me? :)

Ian

Mike,

I agree but where does one stop buying stuff?

You get the gauges but until you get evacuation, recharge, leak
detection, etc. you'll still need to go to an A/C shop at some point...

I'll bite the bullet but just wanted to see if there was a little
something I could do to put it off.

The cans they sell at Wally World are devoid of instructions and the web
sites talk of conversion but not topping up.

But you can't just do that. You might not need the whole can. I don't
think the system will refuse more refrigerant when it is full on it's
own. You need gages to do it correctly. I'm about to buy a set, as my
car needs more too.
