[Shotimes] Modified thermostat

I used the Robertshaw 492-192 thermostat for years with no trouble. It was replaced with a Ford unit by SHOshop during my 60k but was working fine.   -Ron

I would just like to second this question... After having the another hole
in a different coolant hose after replacing this 192F, 1 jiggle valve
thermostat with the genuine Ford item. Could the new T-Stat be causing an
increase in pressure and causing weaker hoses to fail, or.. am I just lucky?
