Heck I paid $6800 for my 94 Opal Frost MTX w/67k, just back in October of
last year. I had been looking for that particular car (or a 95 Silver Frost
MTX) for almost a year. What I wanted had to be exactly right, and luckily I
found it within 10 miles of my apt. Did I overpay? Yes, more so than I
realized, no 60k, sorta needed tires (me spinning them didn't help), and was
smoked in. But all in all I wouldn't give the car up if someone offered me
the $6800 i paid, or even $16,800. I saw the values for cars on KBB and
edmunds, and like Mark said, for a car like these they are kinda pointless,
especially among enthusiasts, and I only have one so far. :-) You take into
account the modifications to the car, and it is well worth what he wants for
it, just look at the package deal.
