[Shotimes] Energy Suspension Bushings

This note made me think of one of the few times in my life I was
***really*** scared driving my SHO. The suspension mods at the time of the
incident I'm about to explain included aluminum subframe bushings, and
Tokico/Eibach's only. I did the trick to loosen up the rear a little by
running less air pressure in the rear tires. I happened to notice on a few
occasions that the car was more neutral but didn't realize how much. One
day I decided to overtake an Audi 5000 on a 2 lane road in Dutchess county
NY, which has a very hilly terrain. For whatever reason the loser I was
passing decided we should drag race. By the end of the straight I was past
him and needed to get back in my lane, but I carried too much momentum into
the left hander, and that coupled with an elevation changed started to wash
out the rear of the car. <loss of heartbeat> I still hadn't gotten
completely into the right line when the slide happened and the backend must
have kicked out at least a foot. Fortunately I didn't do anything drastic
to upset the car and it gathered itself back in, but I was shook up the rest
of the way home with a real adrenaline rush. That was an on the razor's
edge of disaster as there was no run off on that road and the SHO would have
been totalled not to mention yours truly.

So be careful how much oversteer you dial into your car...
