[Shotimes] '93 A/C.. help!

It's getting warm and the wife just tried to turn her A/C on.. nothing. I
checked all the fuses and ran an a/c self test.. 888 was the result.
I can't hear the compressor kick on but I see condensation below the car when
I leave the a/c running for 5 or more minutes.
also, thinking the refreg. might be low, I picked up two cans of 134a..
Looking over the low pressure line all I see is what looks like a common valve
stem.. can't find the connector.

Help!
