[Shotimes] Starting problem

Greetings,

I have suffered several problematic starting events recently with my 94 ATX.
The engine will crank just fine and make certain feeble sounds as though it
wants to run, but doesn't.  Sometimes it will just barely run for a few
seconds then quit.

Each time, after I wait for some indefinite length of time, the engine will
start just fine.  I get no Check Engine Lights at all.
