In reality, most perfect-condition musclecars from the '60s are only worth
$5-12K......well under the restoration cost.

Yeah, some really rare cars like Hemi convertible 4-speeds with 2K miles on
them are worth mid-5-figures, but most are not.

A 4-door rental car with a nice motor will NEVER be worth much.

The other thing to remember.. is that a SHO or any car is only as
collectable 
as people find it to be.  All the SHO owners on this list Love them, but to 
most, there just <gulp> "Tauruses".
