[Shotimes] 11.87 second SHO...

Once cars start getting to the 11-second range, though, it's a great ride
either way. Plus, for a car used on the street & strip, the ATX is a more
dependable option, as well as being better for street contests.

To make a full-race-type ATX with a manual valve body, grabby clutch plates,
and a higher-stall torque converter with a switch to manually control the
lock-up (for street cruising), you don't give up much on a really strong
car, other than the clutch pedal.

Could actually be a way to get an s/c SHO consistently into the 11s.

Yeah, it's fun to drive the MTX like yours and pull good times, but
sometimes the fun is in a dependable, stock-looking 11 second street ride!!

Yeah but running a 13.x with a 5-speed is still more fun :) And frankly
running a 13.90 n/a in my 89 is more fun than a 12.90 on slicks with N20.
Takes more skill and is a LOT harder! (one reason I sold my n20 set-up)
