If the alarm includs a starter interupt feature, there is a relay located in
the circuit that goes from the starter switch to the clutch interrupt switch
to the starter. This relay may be internal to the alarm module or may be a
black cube that is about 1 1/4" on all sides. You will have to perform an
under dash inspection to figure it out for sure.
Look for the switch with the W/PK & R/LB wires. Without taking the added
relay into account, the W/PK wire should be hot when the ignition switch is
in START. The R/LB wire should be hot only when the clutch is ALSO engaged.
This wire goes to the starter relay on the driver's side fender-side of the
engine compartment and energizes the starter relay.
If there is no relay installed, this is a very simple circuit to
troubleshoot with only a test light or a meter.
