[Shotimes] (OT) VW Towing Screw-up!!

At the bottom of that article, it appears that VW is going to make amends
to those buyers that are unable to use the vehicle for such a purpose.

One of my friends here just bought an X5.  The guy would probably have
bought a used Boxter S or Carrera if he didn't have a boat to tow.  So he
has a practical reason for owning an SUV.  His biggest complaint about the
BMW is the $1200 that the dealer wanted to install a BMW tow package.  The
U-Haul equivalent isn't nearly as nice but does the job at less than half
the cost.
