Then there's the $8 for an AutoZone fuel filter to try.
Yes, the CPS starts to go bad randomly, then the episodes get more frequent
and are longer in duration.
Not that it can't be, but I've never heard of an intermittent fuel pump.
They seem to either slowly wear out (and get noisier) or just die quickly.

Thats what i was thinking, but that darn sensor is impossible to get to. Ill
need to do the whole 60 or something, odd thing is the water pump is not
leaking and it looks like its a new water pump.....
CPS' just go bad? I will have to check the fuel pressure tommorow. Parts
arent the problem , but labor to get to that thing is a pain.
The car always starts, it just doesnt stay started for long, maybe stays on
for about 3-40 seconds.....then sounds like it ran out of gas, plus it seems
to be not all the time.

Man, whenever I hear this, the first thing I think of is the crank position
sensor.
It just doesn't sound like a fuel pump.

Hello yet again, this week sucks.....I LOVE THE SHO!
Anyway, Today i drove the car for a while and i had a friend with me. He was
really tired and passed out in the backseat, so when i got to my destination
i
just let the car idle and let the music play and didnt bother him. WHen i
got
back the car was dead and my friend told me that it outwright sounded like
the
car ran out of gas. Tried starting it, go to the back of the store i was at
and it died,
Two Hours later i am home and drove it around for 10 minutes and nothing. It
runs just as good as it did two days ago. Whats the deal? Could a bad fuel
pump act like this? It sounds like a fuel delivery problem but the sho has
so
many sensor i was wondering if it was one of them.
Any body please, if ya can help me....I would appreciate it.
THANX TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCE!
I love the SHO!
