I still have to pitch for the pressure bleeder. In most cases (like at least
9 out of 10) I flush the whole system, not just bleed a bit out of each
caliper. Also, pumping the m/c for bleeding is very time-consuming for a
flush, and it is also possible to cause damage to the m/c seals if you
aren't careful.
Plus, it seems a lot of the P-car folks on the list had tried them in the
past, and the universal complaint is that they leak and malfunction quite
easily, especially when they get a little older.

The Motive products bleeder is superior however the cost of the
speedbleeders is very low if you go with the Motormite/ Dorman products on
the shelf at the local parts store. The brand name Speedbleeders and the
ones made by Russell are more expensive. I think I got them (motormite) for
around $5 at AutoZone. I also got the abs bleeder for much cheaper than $75
on ebay if it's the same Thexton unit.
