[Shotimes] OT GTP's - was squeak in left side of dash

The GTP is ideally suited for an ATX. It's a low RPM, high torque
engine that doesn't require a lot of 'gear' for good performance. In
stock form they aren't 'faster' than a SHO. But, with very little
time/money they are low 14 - high 13 second cars. The SHO is 'ideally'
suited to the 5spd much more so than an ATX due to the high-rpm, low
torque nature of the engine (V6 or V8). To me, the V8 with a 5spd would
have been the ultimate SHO (IMNSHO), but Ford was definitely aiming the
V8 at a different crowd vs the V6 car.

In either case, with an ATX I find the V8 to be much more fun than the
ATX V6 cars. I'd personally never consider owning a V6 ATX.

I don't know. I've driven a couple GTPs. Pretty fast. Faster than a
SHO? Probably not. Would I like one with a 5 speed? Sure.
Would I buy one? Maybe. My car's a daily driver. It doesn't have to
be the fastest thing out there.

And, oh, don't start with that "soul" thing again. : )
