Actually, the LS 4.0 is a completely different engine. The Duratec V8
found in the SHO is a 60 degree engine whereas the V8 in the LS and the
Jag is a 90 degree V8.

But, I agree that the 4.0 displacement is nice. That's why I mentioned
that if they made another SHO with the V8 that they should base it on
the 3.0 Duratec instead of the 2.5 that they used for the 3.4 V8.

You guys are forgetting...   (and I might be all wet here) but the
Duratech evolved into the Lincoln LS/Jaguar 4.0L V8.  Now THAT would be
a good size for a future SHO motor.
