[Shotimes] SVT Taurus?

It sounds like someone bought an SVT and Police Interceptor badge and stuck
them on a police issue Taurus.

Anybody know if such a thing exists? There is a '93 Taurus for sale, marked
SVT Police Interceptor. Dual exhaust, 3.8 motor, automatic (ughh), steel
wheels, pretty plain otherwise.  I never heard of an SVT Taurus.

So I'm wondering about this for a winter car. Any known issues with the 3.8?
Would it be the same transmission used in the SHO? Any comments welcome...
