I ran into the same problem with U-haul a while back.

Wanted to tow an old Nova home with the Nissan 4X4 PU truck and U-haul said
that our truck wasn't rated for that big of a load.

Borrowed a buddy's F-350 duellie (SP?) and went and got this dollie. No
problem.  Not a lot of fun as it bounced every which way for 200 miles down
to I.U. Bloomington on the back of the Nissan (Boy!, do I still want to call
this thing a "Datsun") 4X4.

Got this BAD motor, GOOD body '69 Nova home, and helped my #2 daughter sell
it for a whole lot more than the junk yard in Bloomington, Ind. was going to
pay her.

The Nissan truck handled a load of furniture in the bed and the Nova (full
of crap) better than empty with the dollie.
